I can help you achieve Site Wise Gold and put processes in place to keep achieving the gold standard of health and safety permanently across your business. It shows your clients that you have a commitment to your workers and to your health and safety obligations.

WHY DO YOU NEED ME?

  • You are busy!

  • You clients have new systems that you need to adhere to

  • You don’t really know where to start but you want to improve your Health and Safety processes

  • You already have health and safety in place but you don’t document it and need help with that

WHY USE ME?

  • I’m not a consultant so I’m not going to tell you what to do then walk away, I’m going to help you run your Health and Safety programme - I’ll be your Health and Safety lady

  • I’m flexible and work in with you, I’m an extra set of hands. Once we get your Health and Safety up and running, depending on the size of your business, I might only work for you 1,2 or 3 hours per week-you share me with other tradies and this means I can work faster and more efficiently because I have templates ready to go

  • I work in residential construction and have done for the last 3 years – I work with tradies all day so I understand how it works

  • I’m up front and don’t complicate things – I’ll tell you what your obligations are and what you need to do to meet them. I’ll talk to your clients directly about what they want from you if that’s what you want.

WHAT WILL I DO FOR YOU?

  • I can do full management or part management and monitoring

  •  I can get you set up and then leave you to it

  • I can implement a whole system and then run it for you

  • I can:

    • improve/create your SSSP documentation

    • sort and send your SSSP’s

    • do health and Safety Inductions

    • help you run your toolbox meetings including tool and safety training

    • do your client Health and Safety prequalifications – for example: Site Wise/Prequal/Site Connect

    • Keep your accident/incident register and investigate when accidents occur

    • Coordinate machine, vehicle and equipment inspections

    • Liaise with your clients Health and Safety officer directly

    • Liaise with your team directly

WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT ME THAN OTHER HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPPORT OUT THERE?

  • I only work with small to medium size tradespeople in residential construction

  • I want to support busy tradespeople by working in with their day to day activities

  • I want to support larger residential construction companies to improve their health and safety programme – I want to do this by helping the small to medium sized tradies

  • Because you share me with other tradies and trades similar to yourself, I already have templates and documents in place that I can quickly adapt with saves you time and money

  • I can easily personalise to your trade and business 

HOW DO I COMMUNICATE?

  • I work in with you and your business and the needs of your team

  • We set a a message group with you team just for Health and Safety. Everyone sees everything and I can chase your team for things so you don’t have to

HOW DO YOU PAY ME?

  • I charge $85 per hour plus gst on a weekly invoice(14 days to pay)

HOW MANY HOURS A WEEK WILL I WORK? - EXAMPLES FROM OTHER CLIENTS

  • It depends on what type of trade you are, how many employees you have, how many sites you work across, your client requirements and what kind of plant and equipment you use, however here are some examples of hours from my current clients:


Drainlaying

Roofing

1-5 employees/subcontractors

Initial set up – approx. 20 hours

Initial induction and training toolbox talks – approx. 8 hours

Ongoing admin/monitoring – approx. 1 hour per week


Building(Labour only)

6-12 employees

Initial set up – approx. 40 hours

Initial induction and training toolbox talks - approx. 10 hours

Ongoing admin/monitoring – approx. 1-2 hour per week



Plumbing, Gasfitting, Drainlaying

13-20 employees

Initial set up - approx. 50 hours

Initial induction and training toolbox talks - approx. 15 hours

Ongoing admin/monitoring approx. 2-3 hour per week



Landscaping

21- 30 employees

Initial set up- approx. 50 hours

Initial induction and training toolbox talks - approx. 25 hours

Ongoing admin/monitoring - 3-4 hour per week



These hours can increase for:

  • Health and Safety Prequalifications

  • Accident and Incident investigations

  • Yearly self-audit and review

  • Meeting with clients

  • Setting up new sites(full site management only-PCBU1)

  • working with your subcontractors on their H&S requirements

                            And also depend on how often you want me to run your toolbox talks

*If you use paper books, I’ll charge you the cost of printing these.
